Spring 2020 One Room Challenge – Week Seven

Welcome guys! Its Week 7 of the one room challenge, and for me a week of relief! We have made a lot of progress on Zayna’s room, and I am getting so excited to share the completed space with everyone.

This week we focused on adding some finishing touches to her room, including adding some much needed storage shelving. I also wanted to accent her “gaming” wall, and while I was thinking of a simple paint accent, my husband worked his magic and came up with something so much cooler.

So this is what I wanted my husband to do. Something to define the space.

He first taped the wall with the abstract letter Z (obviously for Zayna).

He then painted the area over with a shade darker than the bed accent wall.

Now comes the fun part!

Looks pretty cool right?? Next week I’ll share how we ended up styling this area with a tv and gaming console (I REALLY wish I didn’t have to deal with that stuff, but it is what it is.
